What's in the name Mission Four18?

In Luke 4:18 Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

In the Spirit of Jesus, our mission is to share the hope found only in Him with those who are struggling in life throughout Clarendon parish. 

Hope takes many forms....a new house, food, educational opportunities. But ultimate hope is always rooted in Jesus. Our mission is to share the hope of the gospel, the hope Jesus brings to the world, throughout Clarendon and regions beyond.
